I went to Wild Wild Wet with my mother today. I know what most of you are thinking by this point in time. I'm 21, legally an adult by Singapore law. A little too old to go everywhere with my mother. The thing is, originally, I've invited Yong Shan with me today as I have two complimentary tickets to Wild Wild Wet, but unfortunately, her 'monthly friend' came for a visit, and it is rather unfortunate, but she couldn't make it, and thus, my mother came along instead.
I hadn't gone to Wild Wild Wet ever since it's opening, and I guess that it's pretty fun for a water theme park, but not up to America's standard which I've gone to once a couple of years back or the one that I've gone to in Malaysia many years ago (Sunway Lagoon).
And I have a good mind to sue some girl who literally shrieked her head off when we were riding some ride that have six people to a ride. I think the name of the ride is 'Waterworks' or something. I mean, it isn't even
that scary. And she literally shrieked her head off like someone is murdering her. If I have problems with my hearing in the future, I have a good mind to sue her. Oh wait. I don't even know her name. Damn.
Anyway, overall, it's a pretty great day, though I might probably regret it tonight as I'm already feeling quite tired whilst writing this blog entry. And not to mention that my maid is returning today on the 10:00pm flight after her month long holiday. My mother is naturally happy as it meant that she didn't have to juggle between work and housework any longer.
And I think I kind of understand why my aunt was so dead tired just after two hours in Wild Wild Wet with my cousins during my birthday. I'm pretty tired myself too. A sign of old age maybe?
